The program is presented with an institution-specific approach within the framework of Emergency Management.

GOAL:
The training is provided with a scenario-based and organization-specific approach in line with Emergency Management principles. During the time allocated for the drill, the aim is to test the institution’s preparedness on emergency functions, identify deficiencies, and develop solution proposals.

OBJECTIVE:
To identify events that may cause emergencies in enterprises based on their priority, determine the behavior methods in such emergencies, and provide training and drills to Emergency Teams and all employees within the scope of the Emergency Plan.

LEGAL BASIS:
According to the “REGULATION ON EMERGENCIES IN WORKPLACES” published in the Official Gazette dated June 18, 2013, and numbered 28681, it is mandatory for workplaces to conduct Emergency, Fire Training, and Drills at least once a year.

CERTIFICATION:
Certification will be provided by a certified (Class A) Fire Trainer.

  • Combustion and fire; factors that cause fire
  • Types of fire; hazards at the fire scene
  • Extinguishing agents; usage of fire extinguishers
  • Fire cabinets and fire hoses
  • Extinguishing fires in the initial stage
  • Using the appropriate fire extinguisher according to fire types
  • Actions to be taken during a fire emergency
  • Fire emergency teams and their responsibilities


SCOPE:

  1. Emergency Training for all employees; participation of Emergency Teams is mandatory. A training certificate will be issued to all attendees.
  2. Emergency Scenario development
  3. Announced scenario-based evacuation drill

  5. Feedback meeting regarding deficiencies observed during the drill
