Medical Examinations Within the Scope of Health Surveillance

Initial and Periodic Examinations
The employee undergoes a medical examination tailored to their position. All required tests are conducted to determine their health suitability. Preventive measures are taken based on the physician’s opinion, and periodic revisions are made if necessary.

Entry Examination & Revisions
Medical tests are performed in line with the employee's department and work environment. The results are documented in a periodic examination form and archived.

Periodic Health Examinations
Previously examined employees are reassessed to determine any changes in their health or working conditions. They are then re-evaluated and informed accordingly.

Note: Based on the employee's personal health, the hazard class of the workplace, and job characteristics:

  • At least once every 5 years in low-risk workplaces

  • At least once every 3 years in medium-risk workplaces

  • At least once every year in high-risk workplaces
The occupational physician may shorten these intervals if necessary.
    (Regulation No. 28713 Article 9/C3)

Return-to-Work Examination
If an employee returns after a health-related absence, a medical review is conducted. If needed, they are reassigned to a suitable position.

Special Group Examinations
For personnel with chronic illness, occupational diseases, substance addiction, or multiple work accidents, special health evaluations are performed to determine their suitability for reassignment. If someone is diagnosed with an occupational disease, co-workers in the same environment are also re-evaluated.
