Conducting health examinations for employees in the workplace is a legal obligation. Health records of employees must be started from the moment of recruitment and updated at legal intervals and stored accordingly. Timely health checks help detect potential issues in advance and allow for necessary preventive measures.

İZKA OSGB – İZKA LABORATORY provides comprehensive health services with its expert staff, including workplace physician services, pre-employment health reports, heavy and dangerous work reports, carrier (portör) examinations, health screenings, pulmonary function tests, blood and urine tests, chest X-rays, audiometry tests, and more.

Our mobile health vehicle enables the workplace to offer essential medical tests and screenings required for occupational health directly at the worksite. This mobile unit allows employees to undergo necessary procedures without leaving their workplace.

TESTS AND RENEWAL INTERVALS

Liver Function Tests:

• SGOT (AST)

Kidney Function Tests:

• Urea
• Creatinine
• Uric Acid

Serological Tests:

• Anti-HBs
• HBsAg
• Anti-HCV
• HIV 1+2 and other hepatitis markers

Toxicological Tests:

• Lead in blood/urine
• Toluene, Phenol, Valine mandelic acid, Hippuric acid in blood/urine

CHEST X-RAY

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, chest X-rays used in periodic worker health screenings must comply with International Labour Organization (ILO) standards—minimum size 35×35 cm, 1st or 2nd technical quality. Our X-rays are taken at this standard and interpreted by a radiology specialist.

AUDIOMETRY

Hearing tests (audiometry) are conducted to detect hearing loss due to noisy work environments. Tests are performed in a soundproof booth within the mobile health vehicle and reported by an ENT specialist.

PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST (PFT)

This test measures lung function and capacity under appropriate conditions. It is used to assess respiratory health risks from exposure to gas, dust, smoke, or chemicals at the workplace.

PORTÖR SCREENING

Includes:

• Chest X-ray
• Throat culture
• Stool culture
• Stool microscopy
• Clinical examination

Samples collected in our laboratory or mobile unit are processed and reported at İZKA Laboratory under proper conditions.

VACCINATIONS

Vaccinations are administered in accordance with cold chain requirements by healthcare personnel at both our laboratory and mobile health vehicle.

• Tetanus Vaccine
• Hepatitis Vaccines (applied to suitable candidates based on test results)
• Flu Vaccines (to prevent seasonal work absences)

HEAVY AND DANGEROUS WORK CERTIFICATION

Heavy and Dangerous Work Certificates are issued by our experienced workplace physicians in accordance with the Regulation on Heavy and Dangerous Work published in the Official Gazette No. 25494 on June 16, 2004.
